The Qualifying Practice of the British Karting Grand Prix took place in very good conditions, in the sun, on the circuit of PFI.
Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla) was clearly the fastest of the first session of the European OK Championship at PFI with 54”755, his third fastest time in a row on his fifth lap. He relegated his direct pursuer, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) by 139 thousandths. Luigi Coluccio (Birel ART / TM) was close behind in 3rd place against Callum Brashaw (CRG / TM) and Mark Kimber (Tony Kart / Vortex). Jules Mettetal (Redspeed / Parilla) set a good 8th at 0.262″ from Janker, Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished only 10th and Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM) 22nd.
Danny Keirle (KR / Parilla) took the lead during the second session on the third lap with provisional pole of 54”658 against Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex) who was almost 2 tenths behind. David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex) was finally 3rd, ahead of Andrea Rosso (CRG / TM) and Oliver Hodgson (Birel ART / Parilla), while Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Parilla) maintained a very good 6th place. Tom Joyner (Sodi / TM) was 19th ahead of Evan Spenle (Kosmic / Parilla).
Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / Parilla) dominated the third session with a time of 54”523 which meant pole position, achieved on his third lap. He was ahead of Juho Valtanen by 0.275”, while Luca Maisch came back in 3rd position on his sixth lap. Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) took 4th place ahead of Morgan Porter (Tony Kart / Parilla). Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM) was 7th in front of Kas Haverkort (CRG / TM) and Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex), Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) finished 11th by 4 tenths.
Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR Motorsport) was the poleman in OK ahead of Danny Keirle (KR Motorsport) and Hannes Janker (TB Racing Team). Juho Valtanen (Kothala Sports) and Luca Maisch (TB Racing Team) completed the top five.
